API PLAN 76(GCS76 Vapor leakage to flare)
Application
- For non-condensing media – typically high vapor pressure flashing light hydrocarbons.
- For configurations utilizing an outboard containment seal – contacting or non-contacting type
Media Characteristics
- Hazardous / environmentally harmful (generally in combination with additional API plan).
- Clean non-polymerizing fluids
- Fluids vaporizing at ambient temperatures
-
GCS 76 designed according to API PLAN 76,A containment seal chamber drain for non-condensing leakage on arrangement 2 unpressurized seals with containment seals.Used if the pumped fluid does not condense at ambient temperatures.
Technical Features:
- Designed for arrangement 2 (seal face pressure is lower than seal chamber pressure).Suitable for dry-running suppression or non-condensing inner seal leakage applications.
- Vapour leakage collection ensures zero to very low process emissions from outboard containment seal.
- The pressure transmitter monitors system pressure. A seal leak causes pressure rise, triggering the transmitter alarm.
- Stainless steel panel with polished tubing and compression fittings。
- Typically combined with GCS72 & GCS75 systems.
- Configurations are customizable to meet specific application needs.
